My Written Works
My Completed Novel: a beautiful love
a beautiful love is an adult dystopian novel with crossover potential that has a strong female protagonist and overarching themes of self-discovery, resilience, rebellion, and love. Completed at approximately 98,000 words, a beautiful love is ready for publication. Contact me for sample chapters or the full manuscript. I am eager to publish and to share this story with the world. Here's a synopsis:

They have one society with two distinct classes of citizens: the Lovelies and the Beastlies.
The Lovelies have Their desired physical and personality characteristics, and the Beastlies don’t. Because They know Loveliness isn’t hereditary, They provide and care for both groups equally, with the hope that Their society will become even Lovelier with each new generation. However, to ensure “acceptable” mating pairs, They have strict rules for Lovelies and Beastlies alike, and there are consequences for those who dare to rebel.
They believe Their world is perfect, but that is not the case.
At least for not for her.
Born into Their society, she is a Lovely girl who initially accepts what They say and behaves accordingly, but all that changes when she has a chance encounter with a Beastly boy, who is Lovelier than many of the Lovely boys They “encouraged” her to date.
As her relationship with this Beastly boy grows, she starts to question Their teachings and Their rules, and the more she starts to question Them, the more she starts to question everything.
This is her story.
This is a story of challenge. Strength. Change.
But most importantly, this is a story of love. A beautiful love between a Lovely girl and her Beastly boy. And what happens next.
Rebecca - Bex for short - is a beautiful, kind, affectionate, and very modest young woman who just happens to be looking for love in all the wrong places. After a series of unfortunate meet cutes and hookups, she has started to lose faith in the male population when...
Enter Peter. He's a handsome regular at the coffee shop where Bex works who really floats Bex's boat (if you know what I mean), but also seems to have a commitment problem.
Enter Ethan. He's a hunky stranger Bex literally bumps into on the street on the way to work. He's a little shy and secretive, everything that Bex is not, and refuses to sleep with anyone until he's in a committed relationship.
Enter lots of sex, some abstinence, more drama than you'd expect, humor to make you laugh out loud, and that's just within the first few chapters.
Will Bex figure it all out?
Yes, but first, coffee.
Planning for the Future: A rom-com trilogy
Both of these novels are in the planning stages, but both Violet - Vi for short - and Chloe are introduced in For Love and Coffee as Bex's best friends, and I am excited to continue their stories.

My Upcoming Novel: For Love and Coffee
I am currently writing For Love and Coffee, which will be a funny adult romantic comedy novel. For Love and Coffee is the first in a planned trilogy, all featuring strong female protagonists and themes of self-discovery, friendship, and love. Here's a synopsis:
